Size around the actual tube

Define the tube section, outside dimensions, wall thickness, stock length and weight. Chuck fit and the support arrangement must be checked together.

Account for the finished part and remnant

Include finished-part length, unloading and acceptable remnant in the review. The number of chucks alone does not establish part length, material use or cycle time.

Before you choose.

Can FLC-T1 process every tube shape?

Do not assume this from the machine format. Supply a section drawing, outside dimensions, material and wall thickness so the selected chuck, support and cutting arrangement can be checked.

Which lengths should I specify?

State the incoming stock length, finished-part length and acceptable remnant separately. Also provide stock weight and how parts will be supported or collected after cutting.

How should I compare single-chuck and multi-chuck machines?

Compare the actual support, feeding, part-removal and remnant requirements for your job. FLC-T1 identifies the single-chuck format; do not transfer capacities from another chuck arrangement or assume that chuck count alone determines suitability.
